Luxoft Spain is seeking an experienced C++ Software Developer to join a team focused on building a web application for global orthodontic solutions.

You will design architectures, implement high-performance back-end components in C++, integrate with databases, and collaborate with front-end developers within an Agile environment.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in C++, hands-on Qt experience, multithreaded software skills, and solid debugging and build tools knowledge (Git, SVN, cmake).

Qualificações

• Bachelor or Master in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years designing, writing and shipping multithreaded C++ code (C++11/14).
• 1+ year developing web applications in C++.
• 1+ year using Qt (v5+).
• Strong debugging, version control and build environment skills.

We are seeking an experienced C++ Software Developer to join a team focused on development of web application.

Responsibilities

• Architectural design: Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze system requirements and propose scalable and efficient software architectures for web applications.
• Back-end development: Develop robust and high-performance server-side components using C++ programming language, adhering to best coding practices and industry standards.
• Database integration: Integrate the web application with databases, design efficient data storage schemas, and optimize data retrieval and manipulation operations.
• System performance optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks in the web application, optimize algorithms, and improve overall system efficiency.
• Collaboration with front-end developers: Coordinate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration between the front-end and back-end components, implementing APIs and data communication protocols.
• Debugging and issue resolution: Troubleshoot complex software issues, investigate and resolve bugs, and provide technical support to diagnose and fix issues reported by users or testing teams.
• Code review and mentoring: Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and provide constructive feedback to junior developers. Mentor and guide less experienced team members when needed.
• Technical documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, API specifications, and coding standards to facilitate effective collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Collaboration in an Agile environment: Work collaboratively in an Agile/Scrum development environment, participate in sprint planning, provide accurate time estimates, and deliver high-quality software within defined timelines.
• Continuous learning and improvement: Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in web application development and software architecture, and apply them to enhance the development process and overall product quality.

Skills

Must have

• Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or any other related subject.
• Experience in designing, writing and shipping multithreaded code written in C++ (including C++ 11 and 14), at least 3 years.
• Experience in developing web applications in C++ (at least 1 year).
• Experience with Qt (versions 5 and above) (at least 1 year).
• Aspiration to constantly enhance and learn about new technologies and concepts.
• Knowledge in debugging software, version control systems (Git, SVN, etc.), and building environments (cmake).

Nice to have

• 3D, CAD/CAM experience.
• Agile development methodologies: Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment, following iterative development processes, participating in sprint planning, and delivering high-quality software within given timelines.
• Continuous learning and adaptation: Demonstrated willingness to stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in web application development and software architecture.
