Job summary

Luxoft Spain is seeking an experienced C++ Software Developer to join a team focused on building a web application for global orthodontic solutions.

You will design architectures, implement high-performance back-end components in C++, integrate with databases, and collaborate with front-end developers within an Agile environment.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in C++, hands-on Qt experience, multithreaded software skills, and solid debugging and build tools knowledge (Git, SVN, cmake).

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years designing, writing and shipping multithreaded C++ code (C++11/14).
• 1+ year developing web applications in C++.
• 1+ year using Qt (v5+).
• Strong debugging, version control and build environment skills.

Responsibilities

• Architectural design and collaborating with stakeholders on scalable web app architecture.
• Back-end development with high-performance C++ components following best practices.
• Database integration and data storage schema design for efficient access.
• System performance optimization and algorithm improvements.
• Collaboration with front-end developers for API integration and data communication.
• Debugging, issue resolution, and technical support for users/testing teams.
• Code reviews and mentoring of junior developers; documentation of standards.
• Technical documentation and architecture diagrams to aid collaboration.
• Work in an Agile/Scrum environment with accurate time estimates.
• Continuous learning and applying new technologies to improve quality.
