Job summary

Luxoft is seeking an experienced QA engineer to join a team developing complex medical prescription software for orthodontic solutions. You will cover the full QA cycle, designing cases and executing manual testing for both desktop and web applications.

The role requires 3+ years QA experience, strong SDLC knowledge, and experience with CI tools. English at upper-intermediate level is required and you should be comfortable working in a distributed Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a degree in CS, engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of QA experience across desktop and web apps.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, QA processes and best practices.
• Experience with CI tools (Atlassian suite preferred).
• English level at upper-intermediate or equivalent.
• Experience testing user stories using INVEST principles.

Responsibilities

• Design test cases, checklists and test scenarios.
• Conduct manual testing of desktop applications.
• Perform manual testing of web applications.
• Work with functional requirements to ensure coverage.
• Execute integration and regression testing.
• Contribute proactively in a distributed Agile environment.
• Demonstrate self-motivation and independent work capability.

We are looking for an experienced QA engineer to join a team focused on the development of complex medical prescription software for modern orthodontic solutions. The work includes full cycle of Quality Assurance.

Responsibilities

• Design test cases, check lists, test scenarios,
• Manual testing of desktop applications,
• Manual testing of Web applications,
• Work with functional requirements,
• Integration testing,
• Regression Testing,
• Proactive work in a distributed agile environment,
• Self-motivation and learning capability, ability to work independently.

SKILLS

Must have

• Master's/ Specialist / Bachelor's Degree or Incomplete Higher Education
• 3+ years of experience as a QA engineer,
• Experience testing desktop and Web applications,
• Good understanding of software development life cycle,
• Solid understanding of QA processes, best practices, testing techniques, and methodologies,
• Experience in popular CI tools (Atlassian suite preferred),
• English Upper-intermediate, verbal communication skills are required
• Experience and knowledge of testing user stories, INVEST

Nice to have

• Experience with CAD/CAM applications testing,
• Experience with 3D applications testing,
• Python development experience,
• BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics.
