Adidas IT Careers is seeking a Software Engineer / Senior Software Engineer – Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) to ensure stability for web and mobile platforms. The role emphasizes building scalable distributed systems, improving observability and CI/CD, and driving incident analysis and post-mortems in a multinational tech environment.

Qualificações

• Strong knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering principles.
• 5–7 years in IT with 3+ years in DevOps/SRE (7+ years for Senior).
• 2+ years of team leadership for Senior roles.
• Degree in IT or equivalent required.
• Excellent spoken and written English; strong interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies.
• Tech skills: Java/Node.js/Go/Python; large-scale distributed systems; passion for SRE/DevOps; AI tools like Claude Code or GitHub Copilot.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design and build of large-scale distributed systems ensuring availability and performance.
• Drive CI/CD strategy balancing velocity, availability, quality, and security.
• Automate to reduce toil and accelerate recovery.
• Improve observability and alerting for faster issue detection.
• Define SLIs, SLOs and SLAs for services.
• Participate in On-Call Incident support.
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes and create backlogs.
• Define standards and adopt new technologies.
