Senior Site Reliability Engineer (GenAI Platform & Services)

We are planning to establish a GenAI center at our Barcelona hub, and we are looking for an experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer to help us build a platform that enables widespread adoption of GenAI and to validate and develop reusable GenAI services and functionalities. This role can be based anywhere in Spain.

You Will :

1. Be a part of the OLX SRE Organization who provide support for the development team to ensure scalability, high-availability, deployment, and performance.
2. Educate and share responsibility within the organization in diagnosing, resolving, and proactively preventing production issues.
3. Automate as much as humanly possible and always configure as code.
4. Take operational responsibility for the services that we own, including taking part in an on-call rotation, practice balanced incident response and blameless postmortems.
5. Work in a team focused on Generative AI.

You Have :

1. Experience with MLOps.
2. Proficiency in Python and possibly one or more modern programming languages: Java, Go, etc.
3. Understanding of containers and container orchestration, such as Kubernetes (EKS).
4. Proven hands-on experience with AWS.
5. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
6. Experience with Gitlab and/or Jenkins pipelines as code.
7. Strong skills in fixing and debugging systems and networks.
8. Technical understanding and hands-on experience with performance, reliability, observability, and incident management tools and methodologies.
9. Enthusiasm and initiative in embedding a DevOps mindset into ways of working, implementing automation, and tightening feedback loops.
10. Experience in problem solving deployment using software engineering principles.
11. Experience with monitoring and logging systems (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana).
12. Proficiency in developing and maintaining technical documentation and procedures.

Good to have :

1. Hands-on experience with AWS Kinesis, SQS, Lambda (particularly in Python).
2. Hands-on experience with AWS Athena, EMR, Glue.
3. Experience with GDPR compliance.
