Emburse is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to develop software, automate cloud platforms, and improve the reliability of distributed systems. The role requires strong scripting, DevOps practices, and deep troubleshooting skills to ensure 24/7 availability.

You will work with engineering leadership to plan backlogs, align with product priorities, and mentor junior engineers while delivering scalable, secure infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Experience with full lifecycle SaaS implementations and infrastructure as code.
• Strong scripting skills; OOP is a plus.
• Experience with offshore teams and Kubernetes required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Responsabilités

• Develop software and fixes to integrate internal systems and maintain code quality.
• Meet KPIs and SLAs; manage an error budget.
• Identify preventative measures to protect customer experience.
• Improve availability, performance, and security for CR and Emburse.
• Automate applications on cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with engineering leadership on shared services.
• Support sprint planning and backlog grooming with cloud/ops leads.
• Ensure 24/7 reliability with high readiness.
• Define non-functional requirements for scalable, distributed systems.
• Own cross-domain issues and drive to completion.
• Coordinate with product stakeholders on priorities.
• Prepare engineering documents for stakeholders.
• Provide feedback in design and review sessions.
• Mentor junior engineers.
• Assist guiding more junior engineers in best practices.
• Conduct investigations, testing, deployments; mitigate risks.
