Emburse seeks a senior software engineer to advance our AI-powered, distributed platform. You will own and deliver software that integrates with microservices, APIs, queues, and containers, while enhancing product quality and maintainability.

You will mentor teammates, contribute to architecture, and drive best-practice engineering across projects. Required are 6+ years in software engineering, strong Python skills, AWS experience, and a track record in Agile environments.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 6 years of professional software engineering.
• Strong experience with Python in distributed web app development.
• Experience with AWS services and APIs or equivalent cloud exposure.
• Experience with OS X and Linux environments.
• Designing and building JSON/REST services and APIs.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working in Agile/scrum environments.
• Experience with 3rd party APIs and distributed systems.

Responsabilidades

• On-boards and mentors junior developers.
• Develops sophisticated software with minimal supervision.
• Contributes to technical documentation and knowledge sharing.
• Leads small to moderate projects or supervises others.
• Fixes complex bugs and performs advanced debugging.
• Produces API documentation and guides system design discussions.
