A leading company is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer in Lugo, Galicia. This role involves the configuration, setup, and management of database infrastructure as part of a Database as a Service (DBaaS) team. The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud platforms and Linux systems, contributing to security, backup, and system availability.

Formación

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Knowledge of Linux systems administration and networking
• Familiarity with IAM, VPC, load balancing, and autoscaling

Two important notes : 1) This position requires European Union citizenship and residence. 2) This position involves shifts; 4-6 night shifts during the month on average.

Job description : This Oracle team is responsible for the infrastructure part of Database as a Service (DBaaS) offering that provides customers with access to a database without having to deploy and manage the underlying infrastructure. DBaaS is delivered as a managed database service, which means that the provider takes care of patching, upgrading, and backing up the database.

• Setup and installation: You will handle all the initial setup and configuration of the infrastructure related to our Databases.

Your ideal experience :

• Cloud Platforms : AWS, GCP, Azure (understanding of at least one)
• IAM, VPC, networking, autoscaling, load balancing
• Linux Systems Administration : knowledge of Linux internals, systemd, networking, filesystems
