Formación

• 5-10 Jahre Erfahrung im Signalisierungsdesign und in der Lieferung.
• Technischer Hintergrund in Elektrotechnik, Elektronik oder Informatik.

Responsabilidades

About Us

Hitachi Rail is seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated Senior Signalling Design Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will handle a range of tasks from administrative to strategic. This position is based in Madrid, Spain.

Accountabilities

1. Review HW & Functional Signalling design requirements, allocation, gap analysis, and ensure compliance of design documents through traceability.
2. Deliver HW & Functional Signalling Design (schemes, specifications, test reports) aligned with project requirements, budget, schedule, industry standards, and company guidelines.
3. Provide HW and functional signalling design documentation, including system requirements, architecture, signalling rules, interface control, scheme plans, control tables, block design, and analyses.
4. Develop training support documents to enhance knowledge of industry standards (e.g., CENELEC, AREMA, IEEE, IPC) and company standards.
5. Ensure design compliance via requirement traceability.
6. Create and monitor a lessons-learned database to document errors, process inefficiencies, and corrective actions.
7. Participate in technical reviews to identify and correct design errors and inefficiencies.
8. Execute analysis sequences based on validation and site test feedback.
9. Perform verification activities on documents according to the V&V Plan.
10. Act as a technical interface for HW and functional design matters with other departments.

Required Skills/Knowledge

• Proficiency in C++, Python, C#, SQL, Java
• 5 to 10 years of experience in Signalling design and delivery

Education/Qualifications

• Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering degree or equivalent technical background.

Languages

Spanish (native), English
