A leading company in energy solutions is seeking a Senior Regional Service Sales Manager focused on the Sub-Saharan Africa market. This role involves developing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and traveling frequently to enhance customer relationships. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in sales within the Oil & Gas sector, a bachelor's degree, and excellent communication skills.

Position : Senior Regional Service Sales Manager – Waukesha Engine (Sub-Saharan Africa)

This role can be based in Spain, Portugal, Italy, France, or the UK. The manager will develop the market, grow, manage, and track service-related orders and activities, focusing on account strategies, expanding service orders, and building relationships with key end users and channel partners.

  • Organize and communicate business development opportunities effectively with the sales team.
  • Research and map key accounts, evaluating business strategies.
  • Develop and communicate account strategies for specific accounts in the region.
  • Initiate contact with potential and current customers to generate leads and identify sales opportunities, considering local emission standards.
  • Monitor and report on competitors, third-party providers, and parts suppliers.
  • Use critical thinking and strong communication skills to build relationships and develop sales strategies.
  • Create competitive strategies and messaging externally and internally.
  • Conduct win / loss analysis with prospects and communicate findings internally.
  • Collaborate with Product Line Management to develop new service products and strategies.
  • Support sales with competitive insights and strategy development.
  • Communicate updates on market events and competitive solutions across sales organizations.
  • Serve as the primary contact ('go-to' person) for assigned accounts.
  • Increase win rates against key competitors.
  • Respond promptly to ad-hoc requests from management and channel partners.
  • Organize customer-specific service workshops to increase knowledge and transparency.
  • Represent the voice of the customer within INNIO Waukesha and drive service improvements.

Qualification Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or business administration.
  • At least 5 years of sales or business development experience in Oil & Gas or power generation industries.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Sub-Saharan region and relevant experience.
  • Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time, including monthly trips to Nigeria.
  • Fluency in English; Portuguese is a plus.
  • Ability to work remotely from home.
