SIG is seeking a Senior Expert Service Automation to ensure reliable, efficient operation of SIG filling lines. You will diagnose, commission, and optimize automation at customer sites, using Siemens S7, Schneider PLCs and Zenon SCADA.

The role requires travel primarily to international sites and close collaboration with Service and Engineering teams. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in industrial automation, strong electrical understanding, and fluent English with excellent communication

Formación

Degree in Industrial Automation or Electrical Engineering or related field.
3+ years in industrial automation, preferably Field Service/Technical Service.
Strong experience with Siemens S7 PLCs, Schneider PLCs and Zenon SCADA.
Knowledge of HMIs, Profibus, Industrial Ethernet, VFDs, and servo motors.
Ability to read electrical/electronic schematics and maintain machinery software.

Responsabilidades

Analyze and resolve complex automation issues at customer sites.
Diagnose and troubleshoot control systems based on Siemens S7 and Schneider PLCs.
Perform on-site commissioning and validate software modifications.
Integrate peripheral equipment, sensors, actuators and industrial networks.
Collaborate with production, maintenance and quality teams for optimum performance.
Maintain electrical schematics and software backups, and document changes.
Contribute to continuous improvement and digitalization projects.
Serve as a technical contact for customers and coordinate with Service/Engineering teams.
