Fortinet is seeking a Professional Services Consultant in Madrid to work with clients and partners on engagements of medium-to-high complexity, remotely and/or on-site. You will focus on implementing Fortinet firewall and related security products, plus documenting and optimizing these services.

The role requires a team player with strong written and verbal communication skills, following a structured approach to IT security solution implementations and knowledge transfer to customer staff.

Formación

• 10+ years’ experience in LAN/WAN/Internet consulting, support and/or administration.
• 6+ years’ experience with Network Security Products.
• Experience working as a Professional Services senior consultant or engineer is a plus.
• Expertise in NGFW and at least 2 of the following technologies: Email Security, Advanced Threat Protection, Endpoint Security, Application Security, Web Application Firewall, Network Security Management, SIEM, SDN or cloud-based security tech.
• Very good presentation and technical documentation skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Responsabilidades

• Develops a clear understanding of customer engagement objectives, scope, and requirements.
• Participates in architecture design workshops and provides input.
• Develops project documents with technical designs and migration/implementation plans.
• Contributes to scoping and statements of work based on customer analysis.
• Performs deployment, configuration, testing and troubleshooting of Fortinet security solutions in customer environments.
• Delivers knowledge transfer sessions to customer staff.
