Ambit Iberia is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join a global CISOC team, focusing on security monitoring, detection engineering, and the ongoing improvement of SIEM/XDR capabilities. You will design and optimize security use cases, develop automation and integrations, and collaborate with Security Detection and Incident Response teams to improve threat detection and remediation.

You will contribute to security reporting, dashboards, documentation, and the evolution of monitoring

Formación

• Proven experience developing security use cases for SIEM/XDR technologies.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Knowledge of security weaknesses, remediation, and change management.
• Experience with reporting or ticketing platforms like ServiceNow.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement security use cases for SIEM/XDR platforms.
• Fine-tune existing use cases to reduce false positives.
• Develop scripts and API integrations to automate monitoring.
• Support BAS scenarios to test and improve detection use cases.
• Contribute to monitoring technology evolution and roadmap.
• Collaborate with Detection and IR teams to strengthen detection capabilities.
• Prepare and manage security monitoring reports, dashboards, and updates.
• Maintain documentation in line with security processes and SOPs.
• Present monitoring insights to technical stakeholders and management.
