FULL TIME REMOTE WORK IS POSSIBLE

Our Spanish client in sunny Mallorca urgently needs 2 Senior Security Engineers Level 2, focusing on security solutions and services/SOC. Candidates from industries like Cruise/Yachting, Hotel, Shipping, Telecom, or Operators are preferred but not mandatory.

Our client, a leading ICT company, aims to expand into the Yachting industry with IT/Cybersecurity services. You will play a key role in evolving the SOC, providing guidance and mentoring to SOC L1 team, and collaborating with internal teams for technical security advice.

This is ideally a PERMANENT POSITION, with remote work considered for the right candidate. LOCATION: On-site Mallorca (hybrid), remote work possible.

You will utilize cutting-edge technologies to enhance our customers' cybersecurity posture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation of security architecture and services (SOAR, SIEM, EDR, Firewalls, IPS/IDS, Proxy, Vulnerability scans, Threat Intelligence).
• Develop SOPs, security guidelines, and processes to prevent breaches.
• Conduct security risk assessments and evaluate controls.
• Ensure cybersecurity tasks comply with policies and meet service objectives.
• Oversee security infrastructure integrity, capacity, reliability, and availability.
• Assist internal teams in architecting secure solutions.
• Run vulnerability tests and simulations.
• Generate monthly security KPIs and reports.
• Arrange technical security training.
• Lead incident response plans and SOC escalation processes.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience in security architecture, solutions delivery, and emerging technologies.
• Design and implement security solutions with continuous monitoring.
• Develop security best practices meeting customer and regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience leading resources or project management is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience with security architectures and solutions.
• Knowledge of network security technologies (IDS, IPS, Firewall, DLP, NAC), OS hardening, vulnerability scanners.
• Support SOC engineering, automation, and new technology evaluation.
• Ability to explain complex security issues clearly.
• Proficient in threat modeling and risk analysis.
• Skills in network/system security, incident response, and standards like ISO27000, NIST.
• Understanding of Agile and SCRUM methodologies.
• Relevant security certifications (GIAC, CISSP, etc) are a plus.
