Palatin is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to build the security function from the ground up, defining the roadmap, implementing security controls, and shaping security culture across an international technology company.

You will own the security strategy, lead vulnerability management and incident response, and partner with engineering leadership to balance growth with security best practices. The role is permanent with a hybrid Barcelona setup and flexible working hours.

Formación

• 5+ years in Security Engineering, Infrastructure Security or Application Security.
• Experience building or maturing a security function in a startup/scale-up.
• Hands-on security for AWS (or GCP), Kubernetes and cloud infra.
• Solid knowledge of app security, OWASP Top 10, API security, secure SDLC.
• Programming experience in Python, Go or TypeScript.
• Experience with incident response, vulnerability management and security automation.
• Excellent communication and ability to work autonomously in an international environment.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement the company's security strategy, building security practices from the ground up.
• Secure cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes environments and apps, improving the security posture.
• Lead vulnerability management, incident response and security monitoring with engineering teams.
• Promote a security-first culture through awareness, docs and guidance for developers.
• Partner with Platform, Engineering and leadership to balance growth with security.
