Palatin is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join a fast-growing technology company and build the security function from the ground up.

You will define the security roadmap, secure cloud and Kubernetes environments, lead incident response, and promote a security-first culture across engineering teams. This hybrid Barcelona-based role includes private health insurance and direct influence on security strategy.

Formación

• 5+ years in Security Engineering, Infrastructure or Application Security.
• Experience building or maturing a security function in startup/scale-up.
• Hands-on experience securing AWS and Kubernetes cloud infrastructure.
• Solid understanding of application security, OWASP Top 10, API security and secure SDLC.
• Programming experience with Python, Go or TypeScript.
• Experience with incident response, vulnerability management and security automation.
• Excellent communication and ability to work autonomously in an international environment.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement the company's security strategy from the ground up.
• Secure cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes environments and applications.
• Lead vulnerability management, incident response and security monitoring.
• Promote a security-first culture with awareness initiatives, documentation and guidance for developers.
• Partner with Platform, Engineering and leadership to balance growth with security best practices.
