Formación

Job Title: Senior Sales Executive

Location: Barcelona, Spain (Remote work possible within Spain; regular travel required)

Overview:

JBAndrews is working with a leading global logistics provider seeking a dynamic Senior Sales Executive to join its expanding team in Spain. This individual contributor role focuses on driving new business development in air and sea freight services, targeting small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across diverse industries.

Responsibilities:

  1. New Business Development: Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in air and sea freight, expanding the client base within the Spanish market.
  2. Client Relationship Management: Establish and nurture strong relationships with prospective clients, understanding their logistics needs and providing tailored solutions.
  3. Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, potential markets, and competitive dynamics to inform sales strategies.
  4. Collaboration: Work closely with international offices across key trade lanes, including France, the UK, China, the U.S., Israel, Latin America, Vietnam, Australia, Bangladesh, and India, to coordinate and optimise service offerings.
  5. Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management, detailing sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts.

Candidate Requirements:

  1. Experience: Minimum of 5 years in sales or business development within the freight forwarding industry, with a proven track record in air and sea freight services.
  2. Education: Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  3. Language Proficiency: Fluent in both English and Spanish; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
  4. Market Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the Spanish logistics market, including key industries and regional dynamics.
  5. Skills: Strong organisational, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  6. Travel: Willingness to travel regularly within Spain to meet clients and attend industry events.
