An established industry player is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role involves collaborating with sales teams to understand customer needs, conducting product demonstrations, and providing technical support for innovative virtualization solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a deep understanding of IT infrastructure, security, and cloud technologies. You'll have the opportunity to mentor others and conduct training sessions while working remotely with occasional travel. The Sr SE has an in-depth understanding of IT infrastructure, security, virtualization and cloud technologies. He / She will collaborate closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements, conduct product demonstrations, assist the customer / partner in a Proof of Concept setup and articulate the value proposition of Parallels solutions. As the market is changing fast the Sr SE is also someone that can fast learn new technologies and understand what the benefits are of these new technologies.
Beyond technical expertise, the Sr SE stands out as a good communicator who thrives on collaborative efforts with customers and partners. Possessing a sense of ownership and trustworthiness, they adeptly empathize with customers, translating their needs into tailored solutions offered by Parallels.
The ideal candidate not only possesses the technical skill required for the role but is also enthusiastic about conducting occasional (classroom) training sessions for partners and customers. Additionally, a willingness to travel to (Industry) events to provide on-booth or on-stage support to the sales & marketing colleagues.
This position is looking for someone located in the European Union or United Kingdom and can cover customers / partners mainly in Europe & Middle east. English speaking is mandatory, other languages is a strong plus.
For this specific position the main focus will be on the funnel and partners in the Middle east so Arabic is a strong plus.
This position is 100% Remote. Travel maximum 20% of the time.
