Fusion Consulting is seeking an experienced Rust Developer to lead backend design and development of reliable services, with gradual expansion into full-stack delivery. You will primarily work with Rust to build APIs, data models, and asynchronous components, while contributing to frontend apps using Vue.js and Angular and data pipelines with AWS Glue.

• At least 4 years of professional software development experience.
• Solid production Rust experience.
• Strong backend engineering fundamentals: API design, asynchronous programming, data modeling, automated tests.
• Willingness to contribute to frontend apps (Vue.js/Angular).
• Ability to learn unfamiliar tools and codebases quickly.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services in Rust.
• Build REST APIs and asynchronous components.
• Create and maintain data models and relational integrations.
• Write clean, maintainable production code.
• Own backend features from design to delivery and support.
• Contribute to frontend apps built with Vue.js and Angular.
• Support AWS Glue pipelines and related ETL activities.
• Participate in code reviews and architectural decisions.
• Work in a polyglot codebase and learn adjacent technologies.
