Fusion Consulting, a global IT boutique, seeks a skilled backend engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain services in Rust. You will build REST APIs, model data, and contribute to frontend work with Vue.js/Angular, while supporting AWS Glue pipelines and ETL tasks.

You will join a polyglot team, own features end-to-end, and communicate progress clearly. A strong foundation in API design, asynchronous programming, and testing is required, with a willingness to learn new tools.

Formación

• At least 4 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong production Rust experience for backend services.
• Solid API design, asynchronous programming, data modeling, and testing.
• Willingness to contribute to frontend apps (Vue.js/Angular) and learn new tools.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services in Rust.
• Build reliable REST APIs and asynchronous components.
• Create and maintain data models and integrations with relational stores.
• Write clean, maintainable, production-grade code.
• Own backend features from design to delivery and support.
• Contribute to frontend apps built with Vue.js and Angular.
• Support AWS Glue pipelines and ETL/data processing tasks.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture decisions.
• Work across backend, frontend, and data pipeline components over time.
• Communicate progress, risks, and decisions clearly within the team.
