Workato in Barcelona is seeking an exceptional Senior Ruby on Rails Developer to join our growing team. You will build API interfaces and backend infrastructure and collaborate with UI, connectivity and DevOps teams to solve complex problems.

The role demands 7+ years of Rails experience, strong Ruby, PostgreSQL, and caching tech. You’ll contribute across the development lifecycle, write clean code, and help shape scalable systems in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• 7+ years of experience developing, shipping and maintaining Rails applications.
• Strong knowledge of Ruby and Rails, with API design experience.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and caching technologies (Redis/Memcached).
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Build complex Ruby on Rails applications.
• Build server-side infrastructure for the Workato user interface.
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Write well-designed, testable, efficient code.
• Evaluate and propose improvements to the existing system.
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies.
