This role is based in Europe and all candidates must live in and be able to work in Europe without sponsorship.

Position :

SignalWire is looking for a Senior Software Engineer based in Europe with advanced Ruby on Rails coding skills. This position is responsible for the backend coding of all business logic, UI / UX APIs, REST APIs, billing, and related systems. We are looking for someone who can quickly learn the codebase and contribute meaningfully within a short timeframe.

Responsibilities :

• Mentoring other developers through code reviews and one-on-one sessions.
• Collaborating with product management to gather requirements.

Qualifications :

6+ years of hands-on development experience in Ruby on Rails.

Extensive experience with billing, asynchronous, and rapid-scaling systems.

Experience working on large distributed systems.

Ability to generate specifications from business requirements and execute on time.

Leadership skills and willingness to support the team and manager.

Experience working remotely and effective communication with global team members.
