You will develop strategies for tax and trade compliance, influence executive leadership, and lead initiatives to simplify compliance for sellers while managing risks. Formación

In the EU, we continue to observe an unprecedented wave of legislation impacting Selling Partner (SP) experience, constraining selection and jeopardizing growth. This increases the complexity and cost of selling in the EU and makes compliance the primary barrier to SP launches in the region.

As a Sr. Risk Manager in EU3P Compliance Programs, you will define strategies and execution plans to scale a high-visibility, complex tax or trade compliance program across the EU and UK. You will influence cross-VP organizations to :

• Define seller experience and engagement programs to increase compliance.
• Shape risk appetite for executive leadership.
• Design and implement seller enforcement and regain strategies for EU and UK marketplaces.
• Lead simplification initiatives.
• Support the development of auditing strategies to identify remaining risks and develop mitigations.

The ideal candidate is motivated, agile, experienced in risk management, compliance, or auditing, and possesses strong project management skills. Excellent troubleshooting, stakeholder management, and communication skills are essential.

Key job responsibilities

• Understand compliance requirements arising from legislation for Amazon and our Sellers.
• Shape risk appetite for executive leadership.
• Review seller enforcement strategies for EU and UK marketplaces, including reporting mechanisms.
• Review the evolution of controls to monitor compliance and improve risk posture.
• Lead review and auditing strategies to identify remaining risks and develop mitigations.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications.
• Experience in compliance, audit, or risk management.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Experience developing and implementing standards, policies, and programs or equivalent.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
• Master’s degree or equivalent.
• Experience building cross-functional partnerships and influencing stakeholders across the organization without direct reporting relationships.
