NoOffer DescriptionJob positionSenior Research Support technician We seek a research assistant (“Tècnic superiors de la recerca”) to give support to the project “A Network Science Approach to Social Cohesion in European Societies" (PATCHWORK) funded by the European Research Council. This international project investigates social cohesion in different societies via large-scale cross-national survey data on networks.Tasks :
Give support to research based on the statistical analysis of data from a cross-national survey on citizens' personal networks in relation to the social cohesion of societies.Conduct statistical simulations of societal networks and statistical analysis of survey data.Contribute to (at least 2) articles for high-quality international scientific journals that align with the project's objectives and requirements.Conduct interviews using CAPI (Computer-Assisted Personal Interviewing) and / or CAVI (Computer-Assisted Video Interviewing).The selected candidate will work closely with Dr. Miranda Lubbers and actively participate in the COALESCE Lab, collaborating with other members, including PhD students and other postdocs. They will also take part in the weekly group meetings where ongoing research projects and articles are discussed, and will assist in the group’s activities.Job position requirements (skills / languages / required experience)Academic degree :
