El candidato ideal tendrá un máster en un campo científico y al menos 10-15 años de experiencia en la creación de conexiones con clientes clave. Formación

  • 10-15 años de experiencia en ventas y gestión de cuentas en el sector de ciencias de la vida.

To expand our services and offerings within Spain, we are looking for a Senior Account Manager with a proven track record to join our Spanish commercial team. The location of the position can be from Madrid or Barcelona. Do you have a network in the vibrant life science industry and are a hero in building strong relationships with key decision makers? Do you have experience with selling high value Expert Services and Projects? Then this position might be a match.

¿Qué será su responsabilidad?
  1. Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and expand the business in Spain.
  2. Prospect, identify and evaluate new business opportunities with new and existing customers in the region.
  3. In this function there is a clear focus on developing key accounts for long term consulting positions together with selling project-based services which include a mix of expertise.
  4. Build new and expand existing client relationships across multiple functions with key decision makers at C-level and operational level.
  5. Build long-term customer relationships and strategic business partnerships in order to support clients through their journey from idea to patient.
  6. Identify customer needs, respond to inquiries and propose creative solutions in a timely manner.
  7. Establish and manage a pipeline of opportunities in order to achieve sales targets.
  8. Manage the full sales process for opportunities from lead identification to contracting with accurate follow-up in the CRM system.
  9. Evaluate complex questions, divide them into manageable parts to be able to take the customer through their journey from idea to patient.
  10. Being able to manage multiple stakeholders both internally and externally.
  11. Expand your network in the life sciences sector by playing an active role in different networking associations.
  12. In addition to an external network, you also build your internal network within the organization with QbD consultants, sales colleagues, HR, marketing.
¿Quiénes buscamos?
  1. You have a master’s degree in a scientific field, which you combine with at least 10-15 years of field experience, commercial flair and common sense.
  2. You have a proven track record developing mid-level and senior customer contacts.
  3. You are fluent in Spanish & English, knowledge of French is a big plus.
  4. The medical device / pharma / biotech world is your passion and you’re able to talk on a more technical level as well.
  5. High level knowledge on quality system standards, a (pharmaceutical) GMP environment and developments in the cell & gene sector are a big plus.
  6. You have the ability to engage clients across different activities that are crucial for the customer to bring the product to the market: from clinical, regulatory, quality systems & control, validation, to communication.
  7. You have a healthy dose of self-confidence; you not only know how to convey the message smoothly, but above all you listen actively to customers, partners and colleagues, showing patience and keeping an eye on long-term solutions and partnerships.
  8. You feel comfortable working with different tools and systems. An accurate follow-up in the CRM system is key for you.
  9. You communicate and report clearly and bring up any concerns in due time.
