Chronos Consulting is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join a product security team in Barcelona with remote options. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and managing security for a cloud-native AWS platform in a permanent, full-time capacity.

You must be eligible to work in Spain/EU. Collaboration with DevOps and Infrastructure teams will embed security across the development lifecycle and drive compliance with SOC 2 and ISO 27001 standards.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field; Master’s degree is advantageous.
• Essential AWS Security Specialty and GIAC (e.g., GSEC) certifications; CISSP/OSCP/GPEN/GCIH preferred.
• 5–8 years in cybersecurity with a focus on cloud infrastructure security; strong AWS security services experience.
• Hands-on security automation and DevSecOps experience; strong scripting and tooling proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and manage security controls for AWS infrastructure.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and drive remediation across cloud environments.
• Automate security monitoring and incident response processes.
• Lead security projects such as CNAPP selection and advanced threat detection.
• Conduct penetration testing and analyze results to mitigate risks.
• Support SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliance efforts.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Infrastructure, and App teams to embed security in the SDLC.
• Lead investigations into advanced threats and security incidents.
