Formación

• 2+ years of experience in DevOps with a strong understanding of automation.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

What You’ll Work On

• Continuously analyzing service data to identify service improvement opportunities.
• Developing, or partnering with other teams to develop automation and deliver a more reliable, cost-effective service to the company.
• Continuing to watch our system capacity and performance.
• Working as part of a team of software and systems engineers on projects oriented towards improving the availability, reliability, and efficiency of the global infrastructure services that run Abbott's critical applications.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 Years’ experience in DevOps.
• Experience with version control.
• Familiarity with databases and data analysis.
• Experience with server (Windows and / or Unix and / or Linux) operating systems internals (e.g., filesystems, system calls), and / or with networking and / or storage systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to frontend development and related frameworks will be considered an advantage.
• Familiarity and / or experience working in an Agile environment.
• Familiarity with continuous integration tools (e.g. Github Actions, Jenkins, CodePipeline, CodeBuild, etc).
• Working experience in a major cloud platform, such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and / or Google Cloud Platform will be considered an advantage.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) frameworks such as CDK, Terraform, CloudFormation.
• Exposure to Ansible.
• IT experience in a Healthcare organization in the EMEA.
