Overview

We are a fast-paced precision machine shop seeking an experienced Senior Quality Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, self-motivation, team player, and a proven track record in quality inspection.

Responsibilities
  • Perform detailed inspections of machined components, including first articles, in-process, and final inspections.
  • Approve first articles and establish process control practices to ensure consistent quality.
  • Inspect and verify parts following outside processing, as well as prior to shipment to customers.
  • Utilize CMMs, comparators, and a full range of precision measuring tools with proficiency.
  • Interpret and apply machining prints, specifications, and industry standards to ensure compliance.
  • Accurately document inspection results, maintain records, and uphold quality standards.
  • Serve as a key contributor to continuous improvement of quality processes and procedures.
Requirements
  • High School Degree; 2-4 year college degree
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in an aerospace quality role (senior or lead inspector experience); 5-8 years of experience
  • Proficiency with CMMs, comparators, micrometers, calipers, and other precision inspection tools. Familiarity and experience with AS9100D requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of machining prints and standard inspection practices.
  • High attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to work with others.
  • Dependable, reliable, and committed to producing high-quality results.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to pass a drug test.

  • Full-time position with competitive pay and overtime as required
  • Schedule: Mon-Thurs 10 hours
