Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions seeks a Senior Software Test Engineer to lead QA across enterprise POS solutions. The role involves defining test strategies, lab validation, issue triage, and ensuring release readiness while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will diagnose complex issues across software, hardware, and configurations, translating problems into actionable test plans and reusable assets to enable distributed QA teams across geographies.

Formación

• 8+ years of software testing experience including POS/enterprise systems.
• Extensive customer-facing experience supporting testing, UAT, deployments, upgrades, and readiness.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills across software, hardware, data, and environments.
• Experience with SQL, REST APIs, logs, and distributed systems.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end QA for enterprise POS solutions, including functional, integration, regression, upgrade and UAT testing.
• Serve as primary QA contact within the program, guiding lab validation and deployment readiness.
• Translate customer workflows into actionable test plans and readiness assessments.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across software, configuration, data, and hardware environments using logs and APIs.
• Ensure defects are reproducible and provide actionable evidence before Dev engagement.
• Define and uphold QA standards for coverage, evidence capture, and release readiness.
• Create and review test plans and handoff packages for distributed QA teams.
• Drive defect prevention and continuous quality improvements based on trends.
