Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking a hands-on Lead Software Engineer to drive end-to-end delivery for major retail platforms. You will own implementation, technical design, and client-facing leadership, mentoring teams, and ensuring delivery sign-off with post-release support.

The role requires strong retail platform domain knowledge, cloud-native development, and fluency with AI tools. You will influence architecture, ensure quality, and guide dual-track Agile efforts across Discovery

Formación

• 8+ years of professional software development with daily hands-on coding and prototyping.
• 5+ years building cloud-native, microservices, or event-driven systems on cloud platforms.
• Experience owning end-to-end solution delivery, including design, implementation, and post-release accountability.
• Strong REST/OpenAPI and messaging, plus relational/non-relational databases.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end solution delivery across Discovery and Delivery Tracks with validated prototypes and design inputs.
• Mentor engineers through pair programming, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
• Deliver technical design artifacts such as ADRs, interface contracts, and data models.
• Own risk analysis, data integrity, and backward compatibility considerations.
• Drive AI/agentic workflows integration across the software lifecycle to accelerate delivery.
• Engage clients as the technical lead in workshops and solution presentations.
