Formación

• 5+ years of experience with automation tools and enterprise software.

Our Informatics R&D Center

Located in Granada, it is a core site in Visual Analytics, Data Science, and Bioinformatics. We create software and solutions to help scientists make breakthrough discoveries for a healthier world.

Role Purpose

1. Work as a member of the scrum team including planning, estimating, and verifying user stories and acceptance criteria.
2. Perform both guided and exploratory manual test executions following established processes.
3. Assist in analysis and design, writing, executing, and automating test cases for functional and/or performance testing within the assigned domain.
4. Develop strong expertise in the assigned domain area.
5. Effectively communicate status, metrics, and issues regularly.
6. Understand and comply with Informatics practices.
7. Assist in creating high-quality test summary reports.
8. Become a user expert on product functionality, understanding strengths and weaknesses, and championing customer issues to ensure positive experiences.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and/or Science-based field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• 5+ years of experience qualifying high-volume, scalable enterprise software.
• Experience working in an agile/scrum environment.
• Knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems.
• Understanding of QA lifecycle, methodologies, and best practices.
• Experience with test case management and bug tracking systems such as Jira, Zephyr.
• Experience with databases and data platforms.
• Experience developing API test frameworks.
• Ability to transform manual test cases into automated ones.
• Experience in test documentation, defect analysis, tracking, and reporting.
• Knowledge of BDD, Java, and Typescript is a plus.
• Experience in the Chemistry/Biologics space is advantageous.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal, with strong communication skills for meetings, documentation, and presentations.
