Trading212 in Spain seeks a seasoned QA Automation Engineer to join our fast-growing fintech team. You will own automation testing across multiple projects, build reliable frameworks, and help ships high-quality features for millions of investors.

You will collaborate in agile squads, mentor peers, and continuously improve test coverage, performance, and reliability using Python/TypeScript with Playwright/Selenium. Fluency in English is required.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on automation testing.
• Strong understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and tools.
• Strong programming skills in Python, TypeScript, Java, etc.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (Playwright, Selenium, Appium, Pytest, TestNG).
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or similar.
• Strong RDBMS knowledge.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A very good command of English and excellent communication skills.
• Passion for quality assurance.

Responsabilidades

• Own the quality assurance tasks for multiple projects, ensuring that the software meets the highest standards of quality and reliability.
• Actively participate in design and requirements reviews to ensure testability and usability of features and products.
• Lead testing efforts, including developing and maintaining automation frameworks and scripts.
• Plan, implement and execute testing tasks in different product areas - DB, integration, functional, UI/UX.
• Analyse test results to identify areas for improvement and recommend process changes as needed.
• Provide technical and process mentorship to less experienced colleagues.
• Work in compact, autonomous teams with short release cycles - we rely on agile, independent teams of sharp and driven people with just the right amount of processes to steer off anarchy and not sacrifice velocity.
