Allfunds is seeking a QA Engineer to design, execute, and maintain test plans across web and software platforms. You will collaborate with product, development, and business analysts in a fast-paced WealthTech environment based in Madrid.

With 2+ years in QA, you will use Jira/Azure DevOps, Selenium, Cypress or Playwright, and SQL to ensure quality and reliability. Excellent English communication and a proactive, independent work style are essential.

Formación

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
2+ years of QA or Software Testing experience, preferably within the financial services industry.
Strong understanding of SDLC and QA methodologies.
Proficiency in designing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
Familiarity with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
Knowledge of SQL for database testing.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.
Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases and test plans for new features, enhancements, and bug fixes across various applications and platforms.
Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing.
Identify, document, and track software defects using appropriate bug tracking systems, working closely with development teams for resolution.
Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and developers to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
Participate in the review of requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and tools.
Monitor and report on testing progress, defect status, and overall product quality to stakeholders.
Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
