Location: Remote, Spain

We are Semrush, a global tech company developing a platform for digital marketers.

We are hiring for a Senior QA Automation Engineer (Enterprise Solutions Unit).

Responsibilities:

1. Create and integrate QA processes into the development cycle, ensuring testing is a seamless part of the software development lifecycle.
2. Establish and track QA metrics to ensure ongoing product quality.
3. Build and implement automated testing frameworks supporting workflows and continuous delivery.
4. Design, develop, and maintain automated tests covering functional, regression, performance, and other testing types for client-side and server-side components.
5. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous execution during deployment.
6. Collaborate with developers to design effective unit test cases for comprehensive code coverage.
7. Work with product managers to align test strategies with project goals and business needs.
8. Identify key automation areas, focusing on critical paths and high-risk zones.
9. Improve test automation frameworks to enhance coverage and efficiency.
10. Coordinate with QA teams through regular collaboration and knowledge sharing.
11. Provide feedback, resolve bugs, and enhance overall product quality.

Requirements:

• Experience creating QA processes from scratch and integrating them into development workflows.
• Strong knowledge of testing principles, methodologies, and design techniques.
• Understanding of modern client-server applications, web protocols, APIs, and distributed systems.
• Proficiency with automation tools like Selenium, Moon, etc.
• Programming skills in Java, Python, Go, or JavaScript.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and automation integration.
• Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Hands-on API testing experience.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration across teams.
