Job summary

Fliff is seeking a Senior Python Engineer to join the Integration team in Barcelona. You will own backend features, design scalable services with Python and Django, and build integrations with KYC, geolocation, and payments.

You'll collaborate with product and engineering to scope new integrations, implement observability, and write tests to ensure reliability. On-call rotations and a strong SDLC background are expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of development with Python and API/integration experience.
• Experience with third-party API integrations; payments/KYC integrations a plus.
• Observability tools experience.
• Algorithms, data structures and concurrency fundamentals.
• Architecture design for scalable systems.
• SDLC understanding.
• On-call availability.

Responsibilities

• Own backend features from design to production support.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services with Python and Django.
• Build and maintain integrations with KYC, geolocation, payment partners, and third-party services.
• Collaborate with product/engineering to scope and deliver new integrations.
• Implement observability across integration flows (monitoring, logging, alerting).
• Write unit and integration tests to improve reliability and coverage.
• Support production issues and participate in on-call rotations.
