Job summary

Fliff Inc. is seeking a Python Team Lead in Barcelona to guide the Integration team responsible for KYC, geolocation, payment methods, and other external services that power the product and user experience.

You will own backend features end-to-end, design scalable Django services, and lead at least 3 engineers. You will drive reliable integrations with external APIs, while improving observability and production readiness in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and managing a team of at least 3 engineers.
• 5+ years of development with Python as the primary language and strong experience in API and system integrations.
• Proven experience integrating third‑party APIs with webhooks, callbacks, idempotency, and failure handling.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for a team of engineers.
• Own backend features from design through deployment and production support.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python and Django.
• Build and maintain integrations with external systems (KYC, geolocation, payments).
• Collaborate with product and engineering to scope and deliver new integrations.
• Improve observability across integration flows (monitoring, logging, alerting).
• Write unit and integration tests to improve reliability and coverage.
• Support production issues and participate in on-call rotations.
