AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Senior Python Developer to design and build scalable microservices and REST APIs, collaborating with Product, DevOps, and Frontend teams.

You will implement robust backend services, ensure test coverage with Pytest, containerize with Docker, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions. A strong focus on performance, security, and collaboration with Fortune 500 clients.

Formación

• 4+ years of backend Python development experience.
• Deep understanding of Python core concepts (OOP, functional programming, memory management, async/concurrency).
• Proven experience building REST APIs and distributed microservices.
• Strong PostgreSQL experience and ORM frameworks.
• Commitment to unit/integration tests with Pytest.
• Advanced Git workflows and code reviews.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain scalable Python microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Write clean, well-tested code and conduct peer reviews.
• Containerize apps with Docker and optimize CI/CD with GitHub Actions.
• Model schemas and optimize SQL using ORMs and relational DBs.
• Integrate third-party APIs with attention to latency, security, and reliability.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with Product/DevOps.
