Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Python Developer with experience in the trading domain and FIX protocol to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, a deep understanding of trading systems, and expertise in the Financial Information Exchange (FIX) protocol.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop, maintain, and enhance trading applications using Python.
2. Implement and support FIX protocol-based solutions for trading systems.
3. Collaborate with traders, quants, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
4. Optimize and troubleshoot trading algorithms and systems for high performance and reliability.
5. Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment to ensure code quality and stability.
6. Stay updated with industry trends and technologies in trading.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience of 6+ years as a Python Developer in the trading domain.
• Experience with trading systems, market data, and order management systems.
• Proficiency in Python and related frameworks/libraries.
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases and data structures.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with other programming languages such as Java.
• Knowledge of the FIX protocol and its implementation.
• Understanding of financial markets and trading strategies.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization (AWS, Docker).
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
