Turner & Townsend in Spain is seeking a Senior Project Manager to deliver retail construction projects, driving success through tight control of time, cost and quality. You will lead stakeholder engagement, coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure contracts with clients and sub-consultants align with policy.

Fluent English and Spanish are required, with a background in civil engineering or construction management.

• Minimum 6 years of experience in a similar role.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil engineering, Construction Management or other relevant discipline.
• Fluent English and Spanish.
• Experience with retail projects and experience in the Spanish market.

Job Description

We are expanding ourteam in Spain. We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to deliver retail construction projects. This is an ideal role for a quality driven professional with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Help to establish the overall success criteria for the project, including time, cost, technical and performance parameters.
• Collaborate with the overall cross-functional project team
• Check contracts for services for commissions under your control are in place with all clients/sub-consultants in line with group policy.
• Project planning, including advising the production of the detailed project plan.
• Advise upon the procurement of resources –design and construction.
• Monitor and apply performance management techniques, including the use of KPI’s to improve project performance.
• Set up and manage the change control process.
• Monitor and advise upon project finances/budgets.
• Assist managing the flow of project information between the team and the client, through regular meetings and written communications.
• Ensure the production of formal project progress and other reports.
• Manage and monitor design team in accordance with commission scope.
• Manage and monitor contractor in accordance with commission scope.
• Develop appropriate contractor interface.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6years of experience in a similar role.
• You have at least Bachelor’s degree in Civil engineering, Construction Management or other relevant discipline.
• Fluent Englishand Spanish.
• Preferred background in Architecture.
• Preferably experienced inRetail projects
• Experience working in the Spanishmarket.
• Strong stakeholder management and team-work skills.
• Good written and reporting skills.
