Job summary

Turner & Townsend Spain is expanding its team in Madrid to recruit a Senior Project Manager to deliver retail construction projects. You will lead project planning, manage budgets and contracts, and coordinate across design, procurement, and construction teams to deliver outcomes.

The role requires at least 6 years in a similar role, a degree in civil engineering or construction management, and fluent English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years in a similar role.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Fluent English and Spanish.
• Experience with retail projects and in the Spanish market.

Responsibilities

• Establish overall project success criteria (time, cost, performance).
• Collaborate with cross-functional project team.
• Check contracts for services and sub-consultants align with policy.
• Plan project including detailed schedule development.
• Advise on resources procurement (design and construction).
• Monitor performance using KPI's to improve results.
• Set up and manage change control processes.
• Monitor project finances and budgets.
• Communicate with client through meetings and reports.
• Oversee design and contractor teams within scope.
• Develop appropriate contractor interfaces.
