Job summary

BME | Bolsas y Mercados Españoles is seeking a motivated Project Manager to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives in the financial sector from Madrid. You will drive agile delivery, coordinate clients and partners, and ensure quality, budget, and schedule alignment across the project lifecycle.

The role demands a strong IT mindset, excellent analytical and communication skills, and fluency in English, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and work in an international project

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 7+ years of experience managing complex projects.
• Experience in the financial sector or data business.
• Strong IT affinity and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities, able to work under pressure.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Professional management of complex, technical and interdisciplinary projects throughout their life cycle in an agile environment.
• Focus on client needs and end-to-end execution of projects with regard to quality, budget, time, resource and risk.
• Building of strong cross-functional teams and enabling them to deliver against objectives.
• Responsible for risk mitigation and identification and development of opportunities for improvement at business and operational levels.
• Ensure transparent communication towards all relevant project stakeholders and close cooperation with internal and external customers & partners.
