Job summary

Kraken in A Coruña, Galicia, ES seeks a Senior Project Manager to oversee large-scale civil engineering projects on-site at offices and project sites. The role requires extensive experience from conception through completion, strong technical and financial oversight, and proven leadership.

Responsibilities include planning, coordinating design and construction, managing teams and stakeholders, and delivering projects on time, within budget, and to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field required.
• Master's degree or PMP certification highly advantageous.
• 10+ years of progressive project management experience in civil/infra.
• Experience managing multi-million euro budgets and complex logistics.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, MS Project and CAD tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and completion of major civil engineering projects.
• Develop plans with scope, budgets, schedules, and resources.
• Coordinate design, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
• Manage project teams, subcontractors, and consultants to high performance.
• Monitor progress, risks, and implement mitigation for on-time delivery.
• Ensure safety, quality control, and environmental standards compliance.
• Liaise with clients, regulators, and key stakeholders.
• Prepare detailed progress reports and financial statements.
