• 7+ years’ experience in renewable energy project management (solar PV / BESS).
• Proven track record of taking projects to financial close or NTP stage.
• Deep knowledge of Spanish permitting, environmental, and grid regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the full lifecycle of solar and BESS projects—from land scouting to ready-to-build (RTB).
• Manage feasibility studies, risk assessments, permitting, and regulatory processes.
• Develop commercial strategies, build stakeholder relationships, and negotiate key contracts.
• Mentor and lead cross-functional teams in engineering, finance, legal, and development.

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Senior Project Manager to join Emeren Group , a global leader in solar and storage development with over 3 GW of projects and 10+ GWh in the pipeline.

Your Mission

You´ll spearhead the end-to-end development of utility-scale solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects across Spain. In this high-impact role, you’ll shape the renewable energy landscape by driving large-scale projects from concept to construction-ready status.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the full lifecycle of solar and BESS projects—from land scouting to ready-to-build (RTB).
• Manage feasibility studies, risk assessments, permitting, and regulatory processes.
• Develop commercial strategies, build stakeholder relationships, and negotiate key contracts.
• Mentor and lead cross-functional teams in engineering, finance, legal, and development.

What You Bring

7+ years’ experience in renewable energy project management (solar PV / BESS).

Proven track record of taking projects to financial close or NTP stage.

Deep knowledge of Spanish permitting, environmental, and grid regulations.

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Native-level Spanish & fluent English (C1).

Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD or similar, PVsyst, and Microsoft Dynamics.
