We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee a critical project within the Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the implementation and optimization of a position-keeping system, ensuring seamless integration with existing financial systems and processes. This role requires a deep understanding of financial markets, risk management, and regulatory compliance, and at least 7 years of experience in similar roles, particularly in the Spanish market. The client is a leading financial institution with a strong presence in the Corporate and Investment Banking sector. They are committed to innovation, excellence, and delivering high-quality financial services to their clients. The organization values collaboration, integrity, and continuous improvement. The role requires 3 to 5 days from the office.

Responsibilities

• Project Planning and Execution : Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Stakeholder Management : Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, IT teams, and business units, to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
• Performance Monitoring : Track project performance using appropriate tools and techniques. Report on project progress, issues, and risks to stakeholders.
• Team Leadership : Lead and motivate a cross-functional project team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Vertical Skills : Must be able to challenge stakeholders based on the candidate's understanding of the business.

SKILLS

Must have :

• 7+ years experience in Project Management
• Capital Markets knowledge
• Finance background
• Fluent in Spanish

Nice to have :

• SaaS experience, as client applications are all in SaaS mode.
• Previous Equity knowledge and experience.
