3-5 years experience in body components and systems development.

Descripción del empleo
Support and coordinate the development of body components (BIW, closures, exterior & interior trim) during the product development phase
Collaborate with design, simulation, testing, and manufacturing teams to ensure technical feasibility and design robustness
Ensure to be aware of the project milestones and deadlines by maintaining regular communication with the Project Lead
Ensure achievement of documentation : preparing essential documents like Technical Specifications, DFMEA and DVP with lead time and cost
Handle engineering change requests and support the release process in PLM systems
Technical follow-up with suppliers involved in the projects, in order to get information on lead times, part availability, and costs
Carry out weekly meetings with suppliers to track progress and work on achieving the design of Manufacturing ( DFM ) goals
Ensure component performance, manufacturability, and compliance with safety and quality standards
Provide technical input for cost, weight, and material optimization
Requirements :
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical discipline
Experience of 3 / 5 years in the development of body components and systems
Knowledge of Mechatronics and Kinematics, especially applied to closures and moving components
Vehicle safety regulation knowledge
CATIA experience for 3D design and integration
Experience with PLM systems ( SAP ) / Computer skills : MS Office tools.
Soft Skills : International mindset is compulsory, analytical skills, hard working, team working spirit, communication skills, decisions maker capabilities, proactivity / self-motivated.
Availability for travel : 50 % Barcelona / 50 % Customer site ( Europe )
