We’re looking for a Senior Project Engineer to join our European Plant Projects Organization (PPO). If you're passionate about delivering complex engineering projects that make a real impact, read on.

Role Overview

As a Senior Project Engineer, you will lead small to mid-sized plant projects (up to $2M) across Southern Europe and CECA regions . From initial development through to execution, you’ll be at the helm of projects. You will ensure each project is delivered on time, on budget, and always with safety as a top priority. Your leadership will be the driving force behind successful, high-quality outcomes.

You Will Do This By

• Lead full-cycle project execution - play a dual role from project development to project execution
• Execute plant projects across SE & CECA regions
• Report to management and stakeholders on project status.
• Ensuring operational excellence following company standards and procedures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, business, operations, supply chain) and external contractors.
• Work closely with business area and line management to develop the opportunities and meet the requirements of the scope of supply.
• Own project performance : schedule, budget, quality, and safety.

What You Will Bring

Degree in Engineering and 5+ years’ experience in project execution (ideally in industrial gases or plant projects)

General technical knowledge across disciplines : process, machinery, electrical, and PICS.

Experience managing cross-functional teams and leading on safety, scope, cost, and scheduling

Good interpersonal, organizing and coordinating skills

A hands-on, structured approach with the flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances

Strong communication and collaboration skills—internally and with customers

Resilience, problem-solving mindset , and a drive to see projects through

Willingness to travel : short site visits (1–3 days) and longer assignments (up to several weeks)

Nice to have's

Experience with cryogenic or hydrogen systems

Familiarity with SAP and AutoCAD
