Job Description

Your Career

As a Senior Scale Team Consultant, you'll deliver services and help grow the Palo Alto Networks services business by developing automation-based solutions. This involves collaborating with customers, sales teams, delivery leads, and subject matter experts across our portfolio. You'll empower customers to achieve secure digital transformation by creating service solutions that meet their business and technical goals. You'll support technology transformations and advise on the best delivery services to maximize value within our offerings, ensuring customers leverage our solutions for large-scale changes.

Your responsibilities include gathering, understanding, and documenting customer-specific scope requirements and expectations for value-based outcomes, identifying critical assumptions supporting project timelines, and developing tools and solutions to fulfill customer requirements. You will collaborate with Services Sales and Center of Excellence Practices to construct automation solutions and support the development of tools for successful implementation. Additionally, you will work with the Global Scale Team to drive sustainable services sales and business growth by leveraging developed tools and capabilities.

Your Impact

• Automating deployment of virtualized cybersecurity solutions in public cloud
• Working in an agile environment with managers, Cloud/DevOps Engineers, Solution Architects, and Professional Services Engineers
• Troubleshooting existing solutions and proposing improvements
• Working primarily with customers in the US, during US working hours (less than 25% of your time between 14-22 CET)
• Mentoring teammates and sharing knowledge

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in Network, DevOps, or SysOps
• Excellent knowledge of networking and cybersecurity
• Experience with at least one public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI) and advanced cloud networking
• Knowledge of Linux and at least one IaC automation tool (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates)
• Understanding of SDN and VNF concepts
• Fluency in English (minimum B2 level)
• Willingness to learn and adapt to challenges through creativity, teamwork, and individual solutions

Nice-to-Haves

• Knowledge of Palo Alto Networks solutions
• Script language skills (Python, Bash)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
