A leading gaming technology company in Spain is seeking a professional to own the promo features roadmap. You will lead the development of in-game promotional mechanics and coordinate with cross-functional teams to enhance game performance. The ideal candidate has experience in the gaming industry, specifically with promotional tools and features. The position offers flexible remote work and unlimited paid leave.
Own the promo features roadmap end-to-end: discovery → PRD/user stories → delivery → launch → measurement.
Propose your own concepts (not just stakeholder requests); articulate the “why”, align with business between phases, and lead a full-stack team to deliver.
Model impact: define baselines (bets/wins/turnover), set hypotheses, run A/Bs or scorecards, and publish clear read-outs (incrementality, retention tail, cannibalization).
Mind the platform: keep promo logic decoupled from games, working across data centers, with flexible rewards and symbol-level rules; engage math & compliance where needed.
Partner with the business: coordinate with Commercial/Account teams on adoption and performance; handover clean playbooks.
Provider-side KPI fluency: you work in bets/wins/turnover, not deposits/registrations; you’ve modeled uplift vs. a baseline and can explain retention tails.
Feature craft: you’ve shipped in-game promotional mechanics at a game provider (ideal) or you built/ran similar tools at a casino and can switch to provider metrics.
Experimentation: you set hypotheses and can run A/Bs or scorecard-style evaluations; you communicate results crisply to technical and business audiences.
Architecture awareness: you understand rule engines, RNG implications, cross-DC operation, reward catalogs, symbol-level rules, and where mathematicians fit.
In-game UX judgment: you can keep the portrait experience clean, fast, and informative.
Hands-on ownership: PRDs, slicing MVPs, sprint rituals; strong cross-functional collaboration with engineers, math, BI, compliance, art.
Track record improving jackpots (marketing/overlay or game-math-assisted) and missions/leaderboards.
Experience enabling operator adoption (training, playbooks, presets).
