The team of c / side is diverse and highly capable, composed of subject matter experts who are kind but serious about their work.

Since January 2024, c / side has raised $7.7 million in pre-seed funding from notable investors including Uncork Capital, Mantis Ventures, Scribble Ventures, and others. In Q1, we identified nearly 300,000 websites with client-side attacks, regularly discovering high-profile security incidents.

About the role:

We seek a product marketeer to drive marketing initiatives that require an in-depth understanding of our product space and the broader security industry. Experience with fast-paced B2B startups or similar is essential.

You will be responsible for ensuring we capitalize on opportunities to promote current topics like attacks, online trends, or upcoming press releases such as Wired articles.

What you will do:

  • Develop a differentiated narrative around client-side security and indicators of fraud.
  • Lead our content strategy aligned with keywords and metrics to establish category leadership.
  • Create content for various channels: blog posts, newsletters, social media, podcasts, press releases, website copy, etc.
  • React swiftly to attacks or significant events, driving the dissemination of breaking news.
  • Collaborate with our Performance Marketer to optimize content for top-of-funnel engagement.
  • Manage our editorial calendar and ensure smooth content production.
  • Use tools like Semrush and analytics platforms to gather insights and refine messaging.
  • Partner with GTM & Product teams for product launches.
  • Craft technical, value-driven narratives for security engineers and compliance leaders.
  • Report weekly insights and learnings.

About you:

  • 3+ years in content marketing for B2B SaaS, preferably in security or developer tooling, with proven impact on pipeline and revenue.
  • Experience with tools like Semrush, Posthog, Google Analytics, and ability to evaluate new tools.
  • Creative thinker willing to innovate to make us stand out.
  • Autonomous and ownership-driven, capable of defining growth strategies.
  • Ability to translate complex security concepts into clear value propositions for technical audiences.
  • Strong storytelling skills, especially around cybersecurity incidents.
  • Thrives in zero-to-one environments, action-oriented, embraces ambiguity, and ships fast.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Genuine passion for web security and alignment with c / side’s mission.
  • Fully remote with willingness to travel 2-3 times per year for offsites and conferences.
