Openbank is seeking a Senior Product Manager based in Madrid to lead the Openbank mobile app experience for Individuals. You will partner closely with Engineering, Design/UX, Data, Operations, Customer Growth, and Risk, Legal and Compliance to identify high‑impact opportunities, turn them into clear bets, and drive discovery, development and measurable outcomes end‑to‑end.

• 6+ years in product management for mobile-first consumer products.
• Experience leading a cross-functional squad in a product-led organisation.
• Strong product sense and UX excellence: simplifying complexity.
• Zero-to-one or major feature experience: from idea to shipped product.
• Experience in banking, fintech, financial services or similar regulated digital environment.
• Fluent in English (Required).
• Spanish language skills preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead continuous discovery using product data, customer feedback, UX research and experiments.

• Translate customer and business needs into hypotheses, MVPs, requirements and success criteria.
• Prioritise based on customer value, business impact, regulation and technical feasibility.
• Work closely with other product managers to create a connected app experience.
• Monitor performance post-launch and iterate based on evidence.

Openbank is looking for a Senior Product Manager based out of Madrid. You will lead one cross‑functional squad focused on improving the Openbank mobile app for Individuals. You will partner closely with Engineering, Design/UX, Data, Operations, Customer Growth, Customer Needs, and Risk, Legal and Compliance. You will also collaborate with other product teams, platform teams and international stakeholders across Openbank and Santander. Your job is to identify the highest‑impact opportunities within your area, turn them into clear product bets, and lead your squad from discovery → shipped product → measurable outcomes. This is a hands‑on product leadership role focused on strategy, discovery, prioritisation and value delivery. It is not an operations, service‑delivery or project‑coordination role. We’re shaping the way we work through innovation, cutting‑edge technology, collaboration and the freedom to explore new ideas. To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for:

• Own the vision, roadmap and prioritisation of the Openbank app experience.

Professional Experience

• 6+ years in product management, owning mobile‑first consumer products from discovery through launch and optimisation.
• Experience leading a cross‑functional squad in a complex, product‑led organisation.
• Strong product sense and a track record of UX excellence: simplifying complexity and building intuitive customer journeys.
• Zero‑to‑one, major feature or product‑rebuild experience: taking ambiguous problems from idea → shipped product → measurable outcomes.
• Experience in banking, fintech, financial services or another regulated digital environment.

Language

• Fluent in English (Required)
• Fluent in Spanish (Preferred)
